The Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation Police Department is a 24-hour, seven days a week operation. Community coverage is maintained with three Patrol Squads, one Community Action Squad and a Detective Section. Civilian Support staff is comprised of Communications, one Police Assistant and one Administrative Assistant. Our commissioned personnel are all Tribal, State and Federally certified Peace Officers. In addition to enforcing Tribal, State and Federal laws, they also participate in community events. The Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation Police Department places the utmost emphasis on Community Based Policing. It is our goal to be a professional Police Department that is responsive to the needs of the community. We carefully select the highest quality officers and hold them to high standards of professionalism and integrity.
