Officer of the Quarter Recipients


Every quarter, Police Department personnel are given an opportunity to submit their nominations for "Employee of the Quarter". The Employee of the Quarter award is given to an employee that has shown exemplary work performance.

Officer Todd Petersen FMPD Officer of the Quarter 
July - September 2005

Officer Todd Petersen was selected as Fort McDowell Police Department's Officer of the Quarter for July-September 2005.
Officer Petersen was nominated by his peers for an investigation he was assigned to complete regarding an injured person. The patient's family wrote that Officer Petersen was kind, gentle and patient as he consoled them. A nurse from Scottsdale Healthcare wrote that she encounters Law Enforcement personnel from departments across the valley and she believes that Officer Petersen offered exceptional service.   
 

 

Officer Stephanie Beebe-FMPD Officer of the Quarter
April – June 2005

 Officer Stephanie Beebe was selected as the Fort McDowell Police Department’s Officer of the Quarter (April – June 2005). Officer Beebe was nominated for her many hours of dedicated service to raise funds for the Arizona Special Olympics. With Officer Beebe’s leadership and drive, the department raised over twice the amount that was raised the previous year. The Fort McDowell Police Department donated a total of $3,121 to the Law Enforcement Torch Run of Arizona. These funds will help to sponsor Special Olympics athletes and events in Arizona.
